Text Box: SEMS
When lease holders in the Gulf have written their SEMS, it must then be communicated and implemented within each contractor company working on the lease
Thirteen (13) elements are required in a SEMS.  Six (6) of these elements apply directly to the contractor and their personnel. These 6 are listed below.
Written SOP for each task
MOC for equipment, processes, and employees
Training documentation
Written safe work practices i.e. JSA, Hazard Recognition, BBS
Mechanical Integrity for all equipment
Accident/Incident Investigation
All employees must be fully trained in each element, by regulation. All contractor personnel must receive training in the above, regardless of the final SEMS prepared by the lease holder.
CAST Net accomplishes this even before your SEMS is completed.
